Thu Apr 27 2006 - A New Billboard Appears at the Harbor Entrance.. 

 

A new billboard  has been placed at the Harbor entrance. (see Wed Mar 15 2006  - The Riverpark Place Billboard at The Harbor Entrance is Removed. ) Unlike the original, this one has no construction dates. In spite of the fact that recent WDC documents submitted to the USACE state that the Harbor was now slated for "restoration" The same tired design that has been criticized in public comment as operationally unsustainable, navigationally unsafe, and historically insensitive appears on the new sign. 

 

In the mean time, The Harbor is filling with mud and debris and has fallen victim to poor governmental planning and political spin.  The last time The  Harbor was devoid of boats for Derby was 1935.
